New Andalusian Cinema 2025 Photography Competition

In September, I served as a jury for the Photography Competition of the 12th Casares New Andalusian Cinema Festival, where we selected the 30 finalist works, including "Lina und Ana" by Ana Cayuela, which won the Silver Pajarraco and a €1,000 prize, as well as the two runner-up prizes for "El Tercer Hombre" by Manuel Jesus Oliva and "Yo confieso" by Mercedes Soánez.

I was joined at the judging panel by cinematographer Bart Perez, musician and photographer Jose Andres Albertos, photographer Jesus Maria Dominguez, and Jesus Ponce, film director, screenwriter, and editor.
